Reed Cams now offer’s a ‘Machine Matched’ service for flat tappet cams for Chevrolet small blocks. No longer will you have to worry with a “break in” period after the installation of a new camshaft & lifter set. The Reed Cam lobes and Reed Lifters are mated and run together in a CNC machined, lifter bore indexed, oil pressure fed simulator block that is machined to within a tolerance of .0002”. The Reed Cam lobes and Lifters will be broken in together and inspected for abnormal wear patterns prior to shipping. Our ‘Machine Matched’ service is avail for standard .842 and oversized .874 lifter diameters The Machine Matched service will soon be available for BBC .842 diameter lifters along with other popular engine applications.
